CHARTING THE COURSE

AICP is definitely “Charting the Course” with all that is planned for this year’s IN PERSON ONLY annual conference being held at the InterContinental, Miami, Florida on September 18th to the 21st.  Your Conference Planning Committee has been working hard charting their course so you – our fellow AICP members, business partners, regulators, and non-members can chart your own course.  There are over 70 educational sessions planned covering emerging insurance topics for all product lines along with career developing general sessions.  The ever-popular product line Q & A’s, View from the Top, Regulator Roundtables, Diversity, and an Ethics session like no other are just a taste of the educational knowledge you leave Miami with.   There are 19 confirmed regulators to date attending this year’s conference with hopes of 30 plus in attendance of which you can network with.

If you’re new to compliance or the insurance industry, you won’t want to miss the Compliance 101 course scheduled for Saturday, September 17th and Sunday morning, September 18th.  This course covers the basics of insurance compliance presented by seasoned insurance compliance professionals.

Our conference couldn’t exist without our many Sponsors and Business Partners.  They too are charting their course in providing us the tools needed to be more efficient with our filings, regulation tracking, product development, and much more.  The Business Partner’s Showcase opens Sunday, September 18th at 5 p.m. and remains open until Tuesday, September 20th 3:15 break.

The AICP has a long-standing tradition of selecting a local charity to support in our host city each year. Through our fundraising efforts, via the Silent Auction, our members have contributed over $50,000 to charities throughout the country. This year, the funds raised will be distributed equally between the local charity we have selected and AICP’s scholarship fund.

The AICP has found another gem of a charity to support in our host city of Miami, Florida, Health in the Hood. Combining education on the benefits of home grown, organic produce with the building of urban gardens, Health in the Hood is connecting communities to wellness.  Health In The Hood offers many programs to those they serve. However, the four main programs are:  Urban Farming, Nutritional Education, Food Distribution and a Mobile Library.  This is just a snippet of what Health In The Hood offers to the Miami-Dade community.  Please visit their website to see all that this worthy charity has done and continues to do, https://www.healthinthehood.org.

For information on Health In the Hood and how you can make this year’s Silent Auction and philanthropic efforts a resounding success, please check out the Silent Auction link on the AICP Annual Conference website page.

This is just a snippet of what this year’s AICP Annual Conference has in store for you!  Did I mention Networking, Networking, Networking with fellow compliance and insurance professionals!!!!   The annual conference registration is opening in early June.  Please watch for the email notification.

AICP is definitely “Charting the Course” with this year’s annual conference.  One YOU DON’T WANT TO MISS.
