In June, we will open the website for registration for the AICP Annual Conference in Denver. When the website opens, you will be able to register for the conference and for one of the three fun activities offered for Tuesday night of the conference. Be sure to reserve your room as well, so you can take advantage of the room block that we have reserved with the conference hotel.
Here are some answers to Frequently Asked Questions to get you ready:
Where is the Annual Conference taking place this year?
AICP’s 32nd Annual Conference — “We’re High on Compliance” — will be held at the Hyatt Regency in Denver. The address is 650 15th Street, Denver, CO, 80202
What are the Annual Conference Dates?
The Conference dates are September 22-25, 2019.
What is the nearest airport to the Conference location?
Denver International Airport is around 35 minutes away from downtown Denver where the conference will be held.
What is the dress code for Conference?
The dress code is business casual for all Conference events. Sunday is a special day — Company Pride Day! Make sure to wear apparel which has your company logo and show your PRIDE!
What is going on in the evenings?
Registered attendees and registered guests are invited to join us Sunday evening from 4:30-7:00 pm in the Business Partner Gallery. Afterwards, feel free to explore the city! There are many restaurants and shops within walking distance of the hotel.
On Monday night, we will start the evening off with our Business Partners from 5:00-7:00. Spend time networking with our Business Partners while enjoying cocktails and hors d’ouevres, and trying your luck at winning some fantastic door prizes.
Tuesday night we have three different activities that you can choose from. When registering for these events, there will be an additional registration fee. (PSST- See last week’s blog post for more information on these events.)
May I bring a Guest?
Registered Guests may attend all of our Conference events, meals, and receptions. Just make sure you register your guest during your registration for Conference. We’d like to meet your wonderful guests and hope they will take advantage of the many activities and scrumptious meals we have planned for Conference.
What if I don’t know anyone? Will I have the opportunity to meet others?
The answer is “that’s OK,” and “YES!” One of the many benefits of Conference is the opportunity to meet and network with other compliance professionals. Opportunities have been planned into Conference for you to meet others involved in the same compliance areas you’re involved in, e.g., informal opportunities during our receptions, roundtables, meals, and various activities.
We love all of our attendees, and we have a special affection for our first-timers. If you are a first time Conference attendee, be sure to attend our First-timers Session on Sunday. This session will be chock full of hints and ideas for making the most out of Conference, including how to take advantage of the many networking opportunities afforded you at Conference.
