Ivy Kusinga is the Chief Culture and Talent Officer at Chubb, a global P&C insurer serving large corporate, mid-market, small business, and lower-middle-income to high-net-worth consumers through brokerage, agency, and direct-to-consumer distribution channels. Chubb has a global geographic footprint in 54 countries.
With 20 years of functional leadership experience, Ivy serves as a key architect and trusted advisor to Chubb’s senior management team in leading efforts to support Chubb’s talent management and culture objectives. Following ACE’s acquisition of Chubb, the largest merger in the insurance industry, Ivy was appointed to manage all aspects of the culture integration under the direction of the Chairman & CEO. She actively partners with leadership teams across Chubb to influence and foster a cohesive and distinguishing culture. Prior to this role, Ivy led the talent management function for Chubb North America and worked for Chubb Overseas General as Vice President, Business Development, International Accident & Health.
Integral to her current role is the oversight of Chubb’s global diversity, equity, and inclusion strategy aligned to talent management imperatives. She is responsible for operationalizing talent and diversity efforts to improve gender balance at all levels, as well as the implementation of Chubb’s racial inclusion commitments, and the support of talent retention and engagement initiatives. Over the course of her career, Ivy has designed and implemented a wide variety of development programs to support career growth and advancement of key talent.
Ivy obtained her Bachelor of Arts (cum laude) from St. Mary’s University, Canada. She is an expert presenter on culture, diversity, and talent management at conferences and industry events, and was featured in Intellignet Insurer’s Top25 D&I Champions in the re/insurance industry for her work. She serves on two non-profit boards: Worldmaker International, since 2019; and Gamma Iota Sigma, an international business fraternity for students of insurance, risk management and actuarial science, since 2015.
Ivy has two daughters and lives in Upper Merion, Pennsylvania.
Jennifer Montoro is an Operations Process Specialist for Everest Insurance. With nearly 19 years of experience in the insurance industry, Jenn’s knowledge of the regulatory landscape and workstream processes have allowed her to seamlessly execute strategies that deliver sustainable results. Within her current role, Jenn is responsible for developing and implementing process standardization, developing communications to announce regulatory changes and ensuring consistent timely deliverables across various commercial insurance segments.
Prior to her joining Everest Insurance, Jenn worked for Chubb Insurance for nearly 15 years. During her time with Chubb, Jenn worked in the Personal Lines division for 11 years and the Compliance division for 4 years. Jenn was instrumental in developing an economic sanctions screening process collaborating with members of General Counsel, Home Office and the Global Economic Sanctions Team. Jenn has also participated in a variety of Market Conduct exams, ad-hoc data calls and has provided compliance oversight across business platforms.
Jenn joined the AICP in 2016 and is a current member of the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion committee. Jenn is passionate about embracing change, creating safe spaces, and engaging in and fostering conversation around tough topics.
Jenn identifies as she/her/hers, has one daughter and lives in Vermont with her partner, two cats and English Mastiff.
