Larry D. Oney is an accomplished business, community and spiritual leader; a published author; and an internationally-recognized speaker.
A successful entrepreneur, Mr. Oney has dedicated his entire 40-plus-year professional career toward advancing the cause of the underserved, and lifting up the less fortunate. As such, Mr. Oney has been extremely active in his community, and is vigorously engaged in a broad range of humanitarian and philanthropic endeavors, including the incubation and mentoring of emerging businesses.
Presently, Mr. Oney serves as Chairman of the Board of HGI Global, Inc., a nationwide firm with corporate headquarters in Greater New Orleans, LA. In addition, Mr. Oney is an Ordained Deacon in the Catholic Archdiocese of New Orleans, LA, and he is the
Founder & President of Hope & Purpose Ministries. He has also published five books. And he has spoken to more than million people in nearly all 50 of the United States, at various locations in Europe, and all across the continent of Africa. He has been featured in numerous television and radio programs, and various internet podcasts.
Wendy Hicks has been employed as a Senior Contract and Compliance Consultant with Coulter and Associates since 2010. She collaborates with clients providing product development, forms and binder filings, (in the Life, Health and Accident Insurance space), project management, training, regulatory compliance and change management.
Prior to her work with Coulter and Associates, Ms. Hicks was a Consultant with American Insurance Management (AIM) where she served as a Court appointed Special Deputy Rehabilitator/Liquidator for financially impaired insurance companies and MEWAs placed in supervision or rehabilitation in the District of Columbia, Ohio and Michigan. She was a committee member on a team designated responsibility for the sale of Medicaid enrollment and ultimately managed the smooth transition of the administrative operations.
Ms. Hicks served as Manager of Network Operations with Blue Cross and Blue Shield New Jersey, and as Manager of Delegate Vendor Oversight and Ancillary Contracting. For United Healthcare of New York and New Jersey she was Director of Provider Operations. She has worked with Home Health Agency human resource teams to enhance recruitment, training and retention models. Ms. Hicks was a participant in a consulting consortium providing operational assessments for MEWAs, Dental HMO and TPA operations for New Jersey’s Department of Banking and Insurance and Ohio Department of Insurance.
She is President of Konnective a production/event planning venture that produces fashion shows and events to provide scholarships, and partners with career wardrobe non-profits to donate professional business attire to women in low-income neighborhoods. Her events also incorporate a book drive where children’s books are collected and donated to elementary schools in Camden, New Jersey.
