As I have had a couple of months to get accustomed to my new role of AICP President, I would again like to thank the voting members of AICP for putting your trust in me. I also want to extend a heartfelt thank you to our outgoing President, Karen Pollitt, and to Bri Dahl, for their mentorship. I wanted to take this opportunity to re-state my goals of using technology with remote connections for chapter events and education. Although we are getting back to a normal state of connecting with our peers, I want to continue encouraging the use of technology. I am also continuing my support of the Chapter Outreach Committee and the Board of Directors in the efforts to mentor our chapter leaders and to develop more enthusiasm around volunteerism and future AICP leaders. Carrying forward the vision of past leadership, I want to foster growth in the membership of the organization and am excited to see the ideas of our Membership Committee and how the AICP can branch out of compliance and into other areas of the industry. I will also continue to support student engagement and student members. Those starting out in their insurance careers can be mentored by many of us that have been in the industry for some time. These new student members that are starting their careers will be the members that continue our mission of offering education, training, and networking with other industry professionals, as well as being the members that carry the AICP into the future. Our industry is constantly changing. As an organization, we need to adapt and thrive in this evolving environment. My goal is to influence growth and innovation to meet the changing needs of our current and future members.
As we close 2022, my wish for all of you is to take a step back and reflect on your successes, your family, your friends, and yourself. Take the time to be good to yourself this holiday season as you rest and recharge for 2023!
Nancy Campbell
AICP President
