Fires always make the news, but what about fire is actually new?  AAIS will share about the novel public fire protection rating methodology we have been developing called FLAMES. With all the information about wildfire losses it is easy to get overwhelmed, AAIS has developed a new Risk Awareness Service about Wildfires that provides curated, consolidated, and timely information about the wildfire peril Most of the data available about fire (and many other perils) tend to be response oriented, but what about data on mitigation efforts? AAIS helped develop openIDL that could help transform how we share and utilize mitigation data about fires and other perils.
