Matt Brasch is Associate General Counsel at the innovative rideshare insurtech, Buckle. In this role, Matt provides insurance legal support to the business in all areas, relying on his experience in leading insurance companies to innovative solutions to meet the increasing compliance and legal requirements of the modern insurance industry.
Prior to joining Buckle in 2020, Matt was the Director of Compliance at Digital Partners, a Munich Re company, where he was responsible for the development of the Compliance Management System (CMS) and oversight of Digital Partners’s innovative property & casualty insurers and their industry-disrupting insurtech partners. Before entering the insurtech space, Matt served as Assistant Vice President and Compliance Officer for the Cumberland Insurance Group, where he led the digital transformation of the Compliance and Legal functions. While at Cumberland, he also served as the Chairman of the Pennsylvania Property & Casualty Insurance Guaranty Association. Before Cumberland, Matt was a private practice attorney primarily representing the insurance industry.
Matt has been an active member of the Association of Insurance Compliance Professionals (AICP) and the Insurance Regulatory Examiners Society (IRES) since 2008. He served as AICP President from 2016 – 2017, was on the Board of Directors from 2013 – 2018, and is currently an active member of the Learning & Development Committee and the Mid-Atlantic Chapter. Matt served as an officer in the Pennsylvania Army National Guard from 1996 – 2004 and was deployed to Germany after the September 11 attacks in support of Operation Enduring Freedom.
Rachel Galasso has been an AICP member since 2014 and has many years of experience in the Property & Casualty insurance industry. This experience includes everything from agency relations to product regulatory compliance. She is currently a Sr. Regulatory Compliance Specialist at Markel Specialty.
Rachel has served the AICP in numerous capacities including:

Rachel is currently pursuing the Associate Compliance Professional (ACP) designation with a concentration in property & casualty through the AICP. She has also earned an AINS designation and just recently starting working towards an Associate in Regulation and Compliance (ARC™) from The Institutes Risk & Insurance Knowledge Group.
Rachel has been an active member of the following groups or committees. The American Property Casualty Insurance Association, Product Steering Committee, Life & Health Compliance Association, Massachusetts Justice of the Peace Association and the Association of Notaries.
Bri Dahl is a native Washingtonian with strong family roots in the region. She graduated from the same high school as her dad and grandpa. Her kids even go to the same schools now! Her insurance career began in 1999 with Mutual of Enumclaw. She spent 13 of her 21 years with the company in a compliance related role. Bri is currently part of the compliance team with the National Association of Mutual Insurance Companies (NAMIC). Her involvement with AICP began in 2007. Bri has served the Northwest Chapter as secretary, vice president, president, past president and regional director. She has served the national organization in several committee roles and as a long serving member of the Board of Directors. Bri is also the President and Director of Rainier Volleyball Club, a non-profit youth sports program in her area. In her spare time, Bri enjoys travel with her family and friends, hiking and any extra time she can get with her kids.
