Product Pricing Analyst – will be part of Product Solutions team primarily working on TruStage Life, Health, Credit Insurance, and other legacy products including LTC product. The Analyst will utilize strong business acumen and analysis skills to understand and quantify the steps required, impacts, and benefits associated with implementing or changing business process, rules, regulations and policies. Analyst will support Credit Insurance (CI) and LTC filing needs by reviewing state regulations/requirements and following filing procedures. The analyst will be responsible to work with other teams to trouble shoot issues, provide data, and be available to answer questions. The analyst will also peer/tech review other team members’ work, investigate business situations, and evaluate options for improving business processes.

Job Responsibilities:
Conducts independent Credit Insurance Pricing analysis, draws conclusions and makes recommendations for review by the Credit Insurance Actuary
Recognizes potential issues and performs basic research to determine estimated impact
Provides enhanced analysis, insights and recommendations in support of the product/business leaders.
Monitor results, research cause of performance changes and recommend solutions to senior management.
Design and maintain periodic and ad-hoc reports as needed by the business.
Develops a deep understanding of Credit Insurance and LTC filings and rate implementation processes
Obtains and interprets Credit Insurance and LTC regulations
Writes basic reports including Actuarial Memorandums and responses to states’ objections
Communicates clearly with Regulators via SERFF, email and phone

Job Requirements:

State Filing & Compliance Analyst
We partner with many small, regional and national writers to support their day-to-day state filing and compliance needs and support both their short and long-term project planning. You will be joining an extraordinary and accomplished staff with decades of experience. Based on the applicants background they may assume lead responsibilities on certain projects.
General Counsel
Ensure company’s legal compliance with insurance department directives and with local, state, and federal government laws and regulations; monitor legal compliance of corporate policies, of product development updates and changes, and with employment law; oversee corporate strategic and tactical legal initiatives, as well as any corporate litigation; provide senior management with effective legal advice on company strategies and implementation; oversee corporate legal affairs (non-claims related) and coordinate work of outside retained counsel; give oversight to negotiations of critical company contracts; provide leadership to strategic HR initiatives; Supervise assigned staff.
Qualifications
• Law degree; admitted to a professional bar association.

Duties and Responsibilities
• Ensure compliance in areas of corporate responsibility, not including claims.
• Maintain company policy manual and monitor policy compliance.
• Advise Product Development staff as they monitor state insurance department regulations and changes for states in which we do business to ensure product changes are compliant.
• Maintain a registry of corporate contracts and agreements, manage renewal and notice cycles, ensure contract owner is aware and monitoring.
• Function as Corporate Secretary; take minutes at quarterly board meetings.
• Manage a corporate document retention plan and ensure all departments have systems to comply.
• Oversee corporate legal affairs (non-claims related) and coordinate any outside retained counsel.
• Oversee any litigation where Goodville is named as a defendant.
• Coordinate governance functions, annual processes, maintain minutes, etc.
• Submit Corporate Governance Annual Disclosure (CGAD) updates per reporting requirements.
• Monitor current and potential states for risks and opportunities to do business.

• Advise the Risk Management Committee and participate in the strategic planning process.

Lead Compliance Analyst
Job Description
Responsibilities:
Work with Operations management to review proposed process changes for regulatory impacts and advise on ways to achieve compliance with state insurance laws and regulations.
Participate in and contribute to periodic compliance risk assessments.
Work with Operations, Distribution and Product Management to provide guidance on day-to-day compliance questions.
As necessary facilitate meetings with business process and product owners to ensure action taken to mitigate regulatory risks is adequate. Where needed, perform independent validation that steps taken were effective.
Drive a culture of compliance to help prevent, detect, and reduce company risk.
Provide compliance guidance on modified departmental processes and procedures and work with process owners to implement changes that include compliance input.
Represent the insurance compliance team on special projects as assigned.
Participate in initiatives, to develop new and enhanced life insurance and annuity product offerings. Provide compliance support which will ensure features, disclosures and associated operations processes are in compliance with state insurance laws and regulations.
Assist with Third Party Administrator (TPA) oversight for compliance.
Qualifications:

Senior Filings and Compliance Analyst
• Process initial submissions with State Insurance Departments on new or revised AAIS programs, rate levels and loss costs.
• Advanced skill in using SERFF and ability to interpret rules and regulations outlines in SERFF.
• Manage and coordinate the process for responding to state objections. Oversee needs for extensions, resubmissions, withdrawals with considerations of individual states’ restrictions and deadlines.
• Collaborate with internal staff (product development, attorneys and actuaries) to ensure that filings are complete and state objections managed appropriately. Respond to state objections by drafting endorsements and working closely with Product Development.
• Follow-up regularly with State Insurance Departments regarding status of pending filings to achieve approval within 120 days of submission.
• Develop filing strategies to further the most efficient admitted project implementation.
• Work closely with other departments (actuarial, product development and attorneys) to monitor and communicate filing methods and procedures to ensure rate and form filings in use are accurate and current.
• Coordinate and document all activities surrounding the filing, approval, disapproval of all filings with state insurance departments.
• Comply with all state filing guidelines and established AAIS filing and compliance processes when performing job responsibilities.
• Update and maintain sections of the AAIS Compliance Guide.
• Quote and process custom filings. Gather insurance company requirements for filings, initial quotes for services, if applicable, submission and follow-up on state filings, Act as liaison for handling objections between the state insurance departments, Product Development Staff and the product manager assigned to lead the project.

Supervisor – Market Conduct – Health
The Market Conduct Supervisor will ensure the successful completion of comprehensive and targeted Market Conduct Examinations in accordance with the procedures and processes developed by the National Association of Insurance Commissioners (NAIC) Market Conduct Examiners Handbook, ER, contracting states, and the federal government, as applicable.
Annual Salary: $100,000 – $120,000 based on qualifications.
