What skills do you bring to the office? What qualifications make you a viable candidate for the office?

I am a professional leader and solid team player who is dependable and accountable. I have strong listening skills and can efficiently disseminate information across various groups. I ensure everyone I work with feels included and that they have a voice. I value my patience and ability to manage change through adversity. I am a valuable resource and would love to share my industry knowledge with others.

What would be your goals for office if you are elected?

I would like to help grow the industry group and facilitate positive changes to consistently improve the resources we offer our members.

If elected, how would you use your office to work with others in the AICP to pursue the AICP’s current goals and objectives, to meet member needs, and to enhance the AICP’s value in our insurance compliance community?

I would use my position to gather regional feedback and present those ideas to the National Board to ensure members feel heard. I am excited to work closely with other AICP Regional Directors and Board Members to brainstorm on innovative ideas to enhance our value in the industry. By working closely together we can leverage our strengths to establish valuable change initiatives.

Where would you like to see the AICP in the future and what would you do to move the AICP toward the vision?

I would like to see our membership grow as we continue enhancing our available industry resources and making a positive difference in our communities. Through my dedication and support of the upcoming initiatives, I am certain we can meet our AICP future goals. I will leverage my previous experience at the chapter level to help me make a positive difference at the national level.

While in the Heartland Chapter, I was a member of the planning committee for our chapter events for many years as well as coordinated several of our Chapter events at the national meeting.

At the national meetings, I have spoken and moderated several sessions.

What skills do you bring to the office? What qualifications make you a viable candidate for the office?

I have a good understanding of the organization and what we are trying to accomplish. I believe my organizational skills and ability to work with others make me a good candidate when having to find the middle ground.

What would be your goals for office if you are elected?

Increase our membership in the Western chapter and membership involvement by working with our chapter committee and the executive committee.

If elected, how would you use your office to work with others in the AICP to pursue the AICP’s current goals and objectives, to meet member needs, and to enhance the AICP’s value in our insurance compliance community?

I would support the efforts of the membership committees at both the chapter and executive levels. In addition, assist in creating current and meaningful content for our members.

Where would you like to see the AICP in the future and what would you do to move the AICP toward the vision?

I would love to see the membership grow like I have seen other associations grow. I think reaching out to these other associations to find out what has made them successful and see if it too could work for AICP.
