Job Description
Prepares and submits personal and commercial lines filings of the company’s rates, rules, and forms with the state departments of insurance and rating bureaus for a specific group of states. Ensure filings comply with applicable legal and regulatory requirements related to Form, Rate, and Rule Filings. Distribute CODE alerts and maintain appropriate documentation in the CODE system for a specific group of states and/or lines of business.
-Develops, prepares, submits, and monitors state filing initiatives in an accurate and timely fashion, in accordance with desk-level procedures within the SharePoint framework.
-Assists SBUs, BSU, and regions with research relative to the development of new products and programs and the impact on state filing requirements through the use of tools such as ISONet and SERFF.
-Ensure all filings, both SERFF and drawer, are converted to PDF format and posted to the State Filings Intranet SharePoint site in a timely, accurate, and fully searchable context.
-Analyze, distribute and monitor regulatory alerts in the CODE system in accordance with the CODE process manual.
-Partner with internal customers on regulatory alerts to help facilitate changes and ensure compliance.
-Performs other related work as required or requested by management.

-Exceptional analytical skills coupled with exceptional oral and written communication skills.
-Strong organizational skills and experience with report-generation tools and data analysis
-College degree preferred (or commensurate industry experience)
