The Impact You Will Have
Reporting to the Head of Premium Tax, Data Call & General Accounting, as Senior US Regulatory Reporting Analyst you are an individual ready to join a Global Company in the North America AGCS Finance team to complete regulatory reporting through Verisk (Formally ISO). This person should have an understanding of the insurance industry and preferably you have knowledge of Verisk reporting. This person should be a team player that can think outside the box and continue to grow their knowledge and processes.
Some of your specific responsibilities could include:
Generate monthly and quarterly reports for the bureaus and generate reconciliation reports monthly/quarterly/yearly, including reviewing and approving release to the regulator
Research issues with out of balance or data quality issues over the tolerance points allowable by the regulator, analyzing options for corrections and making go forward decision
Act as subject matter expert to the various stakeholders to provide insight into reporting requirements and liaison with the bureaus as required to support the stakeholder inquiries
Coordinate and support the business in implementing ISO Circulars and Bureau (ISO, NISS, NCCI, TICO, Mass Auto CAR, and Surety Association) reporting changes from Verisk, including making any changes required to the AGCS applications
Build and manage relationships with key business functions to ensure US Regulatory Reporting stakeholders have transparency and insight into evolving US Regulatory reporting requirements
What You’ll Bring to the Role
5 to 7 years resolving discrepancies and disputes
3 to 7 years general accounting and advanced computers software skills e.g. Microsoft/SQL/Power BI
Ability to analyze data, interpret figures, apply the knowledge of data mining and financial systems
Analytic problem-solving skills with high degree of accuracy
Strong time management and presentation skills
Oral and written expression proficiency in English
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, IT or Data Science required
The annualized base pay range for this role is $75,409-128,400. The annual base salary range represents Chicago market range. The actual salary for this position may be above and will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate. The base pay is just one component of the AGCS total compensation package. As part of our comprehensive compensation and highly rated benefits programs, employees are also eligible for annual performance-based cash incentive awards.
