The American Road Insurance Company (TARIC), a subsidiary of Ford Credit, is expanding its commercial auto insurance product offering and is seeking experienced staff to lead the effort. The goal is to bring insurance to commercial customers as part of the one-stop experience for Ford Pro customers, and create excitement about a new option for competitive commercial vehicle insurance across all brands.

Underwriting is considered the cornerstone of our future success in the commercial auto insurance market. The Underwriting Manager will report to the Commercial Auto Insurance Product Manager and be a key member of the product launch team with responsibility for oversight of the underwriting policy, processes, compliance and results. The Underwriting Manager will also participate in development of underwriting and pricing models.

Experience in underwriting analysis, preferably in the commercial auto insurance industry.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and presentation skills.
Demonstrated management skills, flexibility to meet changing demands and strong decision-making ability.
Advanced Excel skills.
Ability to build relationships and work collaboratively with a team.
