Contract Administrator Lead – Contract Compliance (JR37236)
The Contract Administrator Lead is responsible for serving as team lead for contract administration staff at a regional site
How you will make an impact:
Develops and oversees the regulatory approval process for submission of group health insurance products with federal and state insurance regulators.
Collaborate with multiple functional business areas (enterprise and local senior management, underwriting, legal, marketing & actuarial departments) in drafting of new product language and products.
Includes preparation and submission of form filings and communicating with regulators.
Evaluates insurance, HMO, and self-funded benefit contracts and benefit booklets and related processes and procedures.
Requires a BA/BS in a related field and 3 years insurance industry experience or 6 years of related experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
Preferred Skills, Capabilities and Experiences:
Understanding of health care funding arrangements, health benefits, state and federal regulations, group contact and certificate development, and compliance strongly preferred.
Legal compliance research or paralegal experience strongly preferred.
Experience filing insurance products using SERFF and other methods required
PC proficiency to include with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Microsoft Teams and Adobe Acrobat preferred
