Our second scheduled Insurance Department Meet and Greet, this time in Concord, NH, was a success. After networking over coffee and donuts, over 20 AICP members from both NE and the Mid-Atlantic chapters were treated to break out sessions with both Life and Health and Property Casualty regulators as well as Market Conduct. Commissioner Elias, while delayed at another event, did arrive (albeit a little late) and sat in on the sessions.
With the second Meet and Greet securely in the books, we look toward 2020 planning. The Maine Bureau of Insurance has shown interest in scheduling a similar event. We will be working with them to coordinate. We hope to schedule a meeting in Boston later in the year as long as construction at their office progresses. Again, stay tuned.
